Donate-A-Meal
In Düsseldorf, as many as 16,000 children live in poverty. Kindertafel, a local charity, supplies warm meals to those most in need. But, like any charity, it is very much dependent on donations.
An innovative website was launched, where people could donate by 'filling' plates from an online menu. There was no limit to the amount of plates selected, and users then headed for the 'checkout'. Here, their donation was made. As a symbolic 'thank you', they were also given the opportunity to take a seat in the 'plate gallery' - and offer a few personal words.
